Sculptor and Fabricator

Lili Rowe
Lili Rowe is an artist who endeavours to develop a sustainable practice using sculpture, painting and fabrication. Her visual language explores form through ecological awareness and ethical methods, producing artwork that directly investigates the world around her. As an autistic young adult, her work is deliberately challenging and unusual; her observations, drawings, paintings, and sculptures explore what it means to be a non-neurotypical female in the 21st century.
In 2021, Lili spent time at Powderhall Fine Art fabricators -in Scotland, where she engaged with many aspects of traditional sculptural fabrication on behalf of various established sculptors. Because of this valuable time, she is committed to exploring more sustainable methods of fabricating sculptures, engaging with her working practice in ethical ways. Lili hopes to develop casting techniques using recycled materials like plastic, wood, and metal derivatives.
